1-Day Etching with Natt Cann

Saint John arts centre is thrilled to announce that acclaimed artist Natt Cann will be leading a 1-day workshop in copperplate etching in our print studio. Natt’s expertise is perfectly balanced with his creativity and balance of technical skills and creativity. During the course of the workshop, you will etch a copper plate, learning the techniques for how to prepare, etch, and finish the plate, transfer drawings, and pull prints. Please prepare a drawing or drawings for the first day of class or have an idea of the imagery of your print. Plates will be 5″ x 7″ in size. All supplies are included in the workshop cost.
