All of\u00a0SJAC\u2019s programs (workshops, galleries, performing arts events, rental events) fall under the included categories of services.<\/p>\n<p><b>All people aged 12 and up will be required to show their record of immunization <i>or<\/i> medical exemption certificate and a government issued identification to be able to access our programs.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jonathanselig.com\/sjac-backup\/2021\/08\/03\/covid19-notes\/\"><b><i>For further details, please see our full policy update by clicking here.<\/i><\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>*Please also note that SJAC is maintaining a mandatory community face mask policy until further notice.*<\/b><\/p>\n<p>[\/alert]]<\/p>\n<p>SJAC is pleased to offer a one-day foraged fibre basketry workshop by plant fibre artist, Ralph Simpson.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Locally collected plant fibres will be introduced, including daylily, iris blades and some grasses. His\u00a0gracefully formed work\u00a0blends bold\u00a0colour and innovative material with ephemeral fibres to achieve a\u00a0perfect balance.<\/p>\n<p>He\u00a0works in his studio in Fredericton, NB and\u00a0exhibits\u00a0his work locally, nationally and internationally, attending residencies and\u00a0facilitating workshops.\u00a0When foraging\u00a0plant fibre\u00a0he employs principles that respect\u00a0environmental sustainability.<\/p>\n<p>Ralph was born and raised in New Brunswick with a love of the natural world around him. He studied biology at Dalhousie (BSc \u201877) and forest mycology at UNB (MSc. \u201889).
