This program, which is unique in New Brunswick, is designed for students who are dedicated to the pursuit and study of visual art.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The students selected for this years\u2019 program were: Lily Armstrong, Kacy Butler, , Lily Chen,\u00a0Signe Enns, Soyeon Kim, Lily Morrow, Maya Poziomka, and Talia Rodgerson.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The purpose of this program was to provide each student an opportunity to develop a proper portfolio for presentation to a post-secondary school. This year, eight local professional artists and educators \u2013 Amy Ash, Nathan Cann, Alison Gayton, Maggie Higgins, Melissa Kennedy, Christiana Myers, Helen Stanley, and Harriet Taylor \u2013 provided formal instruction in their specialized media (printmaking, ceramics, drawing, life drawing, artwork documentation, and painting.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Saint John Arts Centre would like to thank the James Venner Russell Foundation for their continued generous funding of this program. We would also like to thank and acknowledge the following companies whose continued support also contributed greatly to this years\u2019 success: Eastward Sales, Endeavours, and M. Graham &amp; Co.
