Locally collected plant fibres will be introduced, including daylily, iris blades and some grasses. His\u00a0gracefully formed work\u00a0blends bold\u00a0colour and innovative material with ephemeral fibres to achieve a\u00a0perfect balance.<\/p>\n<p>He\u00a0works in his studio in Fredericton, NB and\u00a0exhibits\u00a0his work locally, nationally and internationally, attending residencies and\u00a0facilitating workshops.\u00a0When foraging\u00a0plant fibre\u00a0he employs principles that respect\u00a0environmental sustainability.<\/p>\n<p>Ralph was born and raised in New Brunswick with a love of the natural world around him. He studied biology at Dalhousie (BSc \u201877) and forest mycology at UNB (MSc. \u201889).
