This fall, Melissa offers a special six-week portrait sculpting course. Melissa studied traditional methods of drawing and sculpting at The Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy. After her graduation, she remained at the Academy for three years as a principle instructor of drawing, before moving back to Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Melissa strives to capture and express the beauty and subtlety that exists in nature, by focusing on recreating the accuracy of the feeling through extended observation of a subject.
