Artist and printmaker Maria Doering will give you a glimpse into the endless experimental\u00a0possibilities of monotype printmaking using textile and fibre materials. Students will manipulate non-toxic Akua Printmaking ink on a Plexiglas\u00a0plate combining it with found materials and mark-making through the use of cotton swabs, toothpicks, brushes and pencils to then print it on paper.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Participants are encouraged to bring along their favourite yarn, fibre, lace, curtain and fabric scraps to experiment with. Other Materials will be provide. Please bring an old t-shirt or apron as printmaking can be as messy as it is fun. No previous experience required, this workshop makes a great evening learning something new for experienced creatives and newbies alike!<\/span><\/p>\n
