This program, which is unique in New Brunswick, is designed for students who are dedicated to the pursuit and study of visual art.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The students selected for this years\u2019 program were: Amber Cho, Chloe McCollum, Marilyn McDonough, Maggie McGuire, Sarah Rogers, Searlait Ryan, Riley Small, and Martha Tait.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The purpose of this program was to provide each student an opportunity to develop a proper portfolio for presentation to a post-secondary school. This year, five local professional artists and educators \u2013 Amy Ash, Alison Gayton, John Pottle, Helen Stanley, and Robert Van de Peer \u2013 provided formal instruction in their specialized medium (sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, drawing\/life drawing, and painting.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Saint John Arts Centre would like to thank the James Venner Russell Foundation for their continued generous funding of this program.
