A seasoned designer with 20 years experience, I've worked in design agencies, in-house, and freelance for clients in non-profit, tourism, government, natural resources, food and beverage, education, sports, and entertainment. I have a strong traditional design background paired with nearly a decade of digital design including WordPress, Squarespace, XD and more recently Figma. I'm driven by finding solutions that work.
I feel my perspective is uniquely shaped by growing up in places like the Congo and Brazil, and living in the far north of Canada and south-west Texas.
I transitioned from day-to-day design and development to project management and overseeing the web development team. Iām currently responsible for estimating, scheduling, and working with clients and team managers on web projects.
My role at Bonfire evolved from designing brand collateral and working with tech startups to focusing on growing the agency's digital design offerings.
As the in-house designer I handled communications material for advancement and communications, recruitment, alumni affairs, and the president's office. Responsible for design and production of Canada's most read alumni magazine, prospective student engagement materials, and major events collateral such as the X-Ring ceremony and StFX National Dinner.
Art direction and design for print, online, radio and TV for clients. Developed identity and branding for clients and support materials for existing campaigns. Worked with photographers directing shoots in-studio and on location. Project managed freelance writers, designers, and developers for clients and handled supplier relationships.
Responsible for wide range of branding, publication, and on-going AOR client work. Worked predominately on tourism and natural resource clients.
Worked closely with senior design and marketing staff in designing and print production.
